A Little Note, modern music choir
About us
We are a modern music choir based in Barcelona, founded in 2010. With a clear focus on fun, our repertoire spans various genres such as pop, rock, funk, bossa nova, or musicals, with the aim of having a good time and entertaining our audience. Over the years, we have performed songs by Adele, Justin Timberlake, Leonard Cohen, Bruno Mars, Panic at the Disco, The Rembrandts, The Supremes, Robbie Williams, Mariah Carey, Queen, Black Eyed Peas, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Lovin' Spoonful, Beatles, Txarango, Coldplay, Flying Pickets, Katrina & the Waves, U2, Weather Girls, The Real Group, John Legend, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Toto, and pieces from musicals like Rent, La La Land, Chicago, or The Greatest Showman... The choir has been led by directors including Guillem Baladia, Andreu Brunat, Juan Bertrand, and Brenda Sara Mau. Currently, our director is Ferran Gallart.

He began his musical studies at the IPSI music school in Barcelona at the age of 7, playing the violin. Shortly after, he started his piano studies at the Classic&Jazz school and later continued at IPSI.
In 2011, he entered the Municipal Conservatory of Music in Barcelona with a specialization in violin and obtained his Professional Degree in 2017. In parallel, he also studied piano, achieving the 8th grade of the ABRSM. In the same year, 2017, he entered ESMUC, where he pursued a degree in Conducting and obtained his degree in 2022.
Furthermore, he began his training in other musical styles in 2018 at the Taller de Músics school in Barcelona, specializing in disciplines such as piano, jazz techniques, or jazz and Latin instrumental ensemble, among others.
Currently, he continues his musical education while participating in other projects, such as directing the choirs of Orfeó Sarrianenc and Rosa d'Abril in Sant Cugat del Vallès, as well as in modern music projects like La Kame Band, Urban Migraine, or Candela y lo demás.

What we do
We enjoy performing concerts for the benefit of organizations that request our participation. We have also taken part in musical productions such as Pirates, performed by the Teatre Gespa company, Els pastorets, or the musical Hairspray, presented by the El Gall company. Additionally, we have participated in a musical workshop organized by Fcec and performed the closing concert at the Palau de la Música Catalana.
Furthermore, we have organized activities open for people outside the choir, such as a Body Percussion workshop led by Santi Serratosa, the drummer of the groups Astrio and Gossos.
We have participated in the TV3 Marathon for several years: in 2014, we held a concert together with the Ressò choir and the Amarcord choir; in 2015, we performed a concert in Caldes de Montbui with various choirs; and in 2022, we had a concert at the Cullell i Fabra Auditorium of the Centre Sant Pere 1892.
